Audio specialist Ultimate Ears has taken the wraps of its latest Bluetooth speaker – the MegaBoom.

As the name suggests, the speaker is a larger version of the existing Boom speaker, and boasts many of the same features albeit in a larger frame.

It can play music wirelessly for up to 20 hours on a single charge and  is waterproof up to 1m.

It can also be paired with another MegaBoom – or regular Boom – to provide sound from all manner of directions.

The MegaBoom is due to launch in Ireland at the end of the month and will be priced at €300.
