It was one of the worst-kept secrets in the gadget world but Samsung has finally taken the wraps off its Galaxy-branded tablet.
Due to be unveiled in Germany next week Samsung’s 7″ tablet device has been teased by the company in a new video available on MobileBurn‘s YouTube channel.
The 20 second clip gives plenty away in terms of spec, though the fast cuts make it hard to see the device itself in action for more than a split second.
What is now certain, however, is that the device will:
- run on Android 2.2
- Have a front-facing camera for video calls
- Have built-in GPS
- Have other essential features like web-browsing, movie playback etc.
As the last frame of the video suggest the Samsung GalaxyTab will be unveiled properly at the IFA consumer electronics conference in Berlin, Germany next Thursday.
