Pre-pay Three phones will now be sold in Gamestop

Games retailer Gamestop have announced a deal with 3 Mobile, which will see them stock handsets from the phone network in its 50 Irish stores.

Gamestop has recently spread its wings somewhat, taking phone and CD trade-ins on top of its traditional market of games and DVDs.

This agreement means the retailer will now also stock pre-pay phones from 3 Mobile, namely the Samsung Acton, Nokia 2730, Nokia 5230 and INQ Mini. Pre-pay broadband will also be sold in-store.

Customers buying phones from Gamestop will be able to trade-in their phones for a €20 discount on new handsets, meaning the likes of the INQ Mini will be available for just €30.

Its just a shame theyll give their staff no training what so ever in phone and broadband sales. Kinda defeats the purpose. Will fail horribly.
