FX is now available to Chorus/NTL customers
Cable provider Chorus/NTL has made the FX channel available to its digital TV customers. FX, which is owned by Fox International, will be broadcast on channel 126 of the company’s platform.
The channel has been available to Sky Ireland customers for some time now and includes The Wire and True Blood in its roster of programming. The channel also had the UK premiere of Iraq war drama Generation Kill.
FX has gained a solid reputation for showing some of the higher-quality US programming that is made by HBO and Showtime before other networks.
Chorus/NTL has made a number of changes to its programming in recent months as it attempts to gain back market share from its rival Sky. At the start of the year the company announced that ESPN would be available as part of its Digital Max package without an additional subscription, just as Setanta Sports had been in the past.
