Canon's new line-up includes the EOS 550D
Canon have revealed details of their latest camera range, with both the compact and DSLR lines getting a refresh. The company announced five new cameras in total, three of which are part of the IXUS range of consumer-friendly compacts.
The IXUS 130 is the slimmest camera Canon have made to date, coming in under 18mm at its thickest point. The IXUS 130 is a 14.1mp camera that is available in a range of different colours
At the other end of the market the EOS 55oD is a 18mp DSLR with HD movie functionality. The company says this camera has the options of a semi-professional camera but comes in a lightweight body to minimise the space and weight it takes up.
