Apologies Frank - your first comment got classified as spam for some reason so it never came to me for approval.

It's been put up now.

As for your experience with the phone I'm glad you didn't have the same issues I did but I can only review on how it worked for me.

When compared to other Android phones I felt it was really lacking, aside from any design issues.

On the buttons, here's how I counted them:
Menu, back, answer, hang-up, search, home, OK, up, down, left, right, lock, camera, volume up & volume down.

That's actually 15.

I have had this phone for about two months. Whilst it is not perfect, oddly i have NEVER experienced the problems this reviewer had; it has not once tried to switch off, the ringer volumn is about the same as any of my previous phones [20 years of mostly Nokia], and i have NEVER hit the camera button by accident. Good points: battery life is way better than my N96, processor is way faster than my N96, and with full Google integration email and browsing just work so well. Looks are not important to me, it is not a fashion accessory. It looks as good as any other phone. Bad points: camera lens is too near the edge, it is so easy to cover it with your finger; sync. with Samsung software on my computer does not work at all, though automatic sync. with Google works a treat. One last thing: I have counted and counted and counted, I can not find 14 buttons .

I bought this in Dubai, UAE. Doesn't have Android Market even though Manual says that. Calling Samsung support and they are not equipped to support t. All most all apps crashes always. Never ever will I buy Samsung or Google phones. They are also not providing any updates to 2.1 also. PC doesn't recognize USB after installing some apps, you have to reset the phone for USB to be detected by PC. I am not using the phone now, gone back to my Nokia 5310 which is far better.
