The Samsung M1, which runs on Vodafone 360.
Vodafone’s 360 operating platform is now available to pre-pay customers following the network’s launch of the Samsung M1.
The handset will cost €199 to pre-pay customers and access to the 360 service will cost up to €12.09 depending on the individual’s usage.
The Vodafone 360 operating system, which blends numerous sources of social media content into one place, launched in Ireland at the start of this month.Vodafone also offers a back-up service which means the phone’s contacts will be saved even if the handset is lost or broken.
Until now the full service was only available on the Samsung H1 handset, which was specifically designed for Vodafone 360.
Customers on a contract can also get the M1 from today, with some deals offering the handset for free.
The M1 is a slightly lower-spec handset than the H1 with a smaller touchscreen, a slightly weaker camera and less internal storage.
