The Samsung H1
Vodafone Ireland have announced price plans for its first official Vodafone 360 phones, which launches tomorrow.
The Samsung H1 & M1, which Vodafone says have been tailor-made for its new social application suite, will cost between €99 and €149 for post-pay customers on an 18 month contract.
The most basic contract available costs €35 per month and offers users an unlimited data package and free Vodafone to Vodafone calls. The most expensive contract on the device costs €99 per month and adds 700 texts and minutes to the same package.
The Vodafone 360 application suite aims to sync users’ online profiles in one place, making it easier for them to manage their activities, content and contacts on services like Facebook and Google Talk.
The service also backs up all of the phone’s content regularly and has an accompanying PC or Mac-based application, meaning information will be saved and easily transfered in the event of an upgraded lost or stolen phone.
The Samsung H1 boasts a 3.1″ OLED touchscreen, 16GB of internal memory and a 5 megapixel camera. The Samsung M1 has a smaller screen and only 1GB of memory, though this can be expanded with a microSD card.
